Monthly Wine Tasting Events

Every Wednesday as well as select days during each month, Viva le Vine conducts it's educational wine tastings. Customers are invited to come and experience wines which are chosen according to the theme of the event, or because the wines are new in the market. Some of our most popular events included: Wines of Alsace; Bordeaux/Burgundy; California Chardonnay & Cabernets; Champagne & Sparkling Wines; Italian Wines; Ports & Dessert Wines; and, Wines of the Pacific Northwest. Many of the tastings are conducted by Viva le Vine's wine consultant/educator Craig Olesen, active member of the Society of Wine Educators and collector of one of Chicagoland's largest private cellars. acchus. His extensive travels and relationships with wine makers and producers from around the world brings great background to each tasting. In addition, tasting will be conducted by guest experts from the wine industry.
